Hamilton is a thriving city. Positively bursting with fantastic shopping and visitor attractions, such as the world-renowned Hamilton Gardens, Hamilton Zoo and SKYCITY entertainment complex. Close by are the world famous Waitomo glowworm caves, surfing waves at Raglan, hot mineral pools, thoroughbred horse studfarms and ex-film set from The Lord of the Rings. Plan a trip on the MV Waipa Delta and you’ll find plenty of fun things to see and do before or after your calm river cruise.

Travellers from Auckland: remember to take the River Road turnoff just before the Ngarauwahia Bridge and follow the river all the way to Memorial Drive.
